With the launch of the “Ona zna” project, supported by USAID, Impact Hub Belgrade and partners (the Center for the Development of the Pčinja and Jablanica Districts, AmCham, and ERSTE Bank) discussed gender biases that prevent women from advancing their careers, negotiating for higher salaries, securing investments, finding jobs, and agreeing on a fair allocation of work. By 2027, the project will support women in Serbia, particularly in the Jablanica and Pčinja districts, in developing businesses, accessing resources and knowledge, thereby achieving economic independence. Companies will also have the opportunity to develop gender equality practices to create more inclusive workplaces.
